ARTISTS EXHIBITIONS NEWS INFORMATION
Elliott Templeton Fine Arts is pleased to announce the opening of their first show of the fall season, an exhibition of photographs by Andrew Weir and Jack Pierson. Opening Sunday, Oct 25th from 3-6 PM at Elliott Templeton Fine Arts, 105 Henry Street, Manhattan.
Andrew Weir has been taking pictures since he was a teenager. In 1998, his boyfriend Michael gave him a Polaroid Land camera, and Polaroid’s Type 665 instant film became his primary medium until it was discontinued. The portraits he made with the 665 film are a record of his travels and the people he met. Weir has spent his life among people usually seen at their most glamorous, yet he has always been drawn to quieter, less polished moments. These intimate portraits, made on an East Village rooftop, in Los Angeles, and across the world, were first exhibited in 2026 as part of CURTAINS, presented by Jack Pierson at Regen Projects in Los Angeles. He lives and works in New York.
Jack Pierson is an artist who has shown his work extensively throughout the world since 1990. He will present 3 new folded photographs taken and printed in the last 3 months.
